There are alot of choices when it comes to online advertising, web design firms and internet services. As a consumer you need to be aware of all the different lingo, services, conditions, and sadly, the scams that are present in the online world of web services.
First let us tell you about some services we provide to all our customers. Services that are included in all programs of our web design / marketing packages. Compared to our competitors plans.
Domain Names / Site Package/ Hosting Fees / Monthly Fees: When we estimate your site, we will give you a package price for your hosting and domain name all included for the first year. NO HIDDEN CHARGES! We will also give you the exact price it will cost you next year to keep you website online including, email accounts and domain name fees. Make sure to get a clear estimate price from any web-design service or online marketing company of package fees, domain name fees, building and maintenance costs.
Feedback Forms: All of our sites include upto 2 feedback forms for collecting data from your site, examples: Email collection forms, or customer information requests.
Tracking Systems/ Analytics / Counters: They are included free with our websites. Some services charge. We don`t. You have to be able to monitor you website progress, how many hits your getting, who is visiting your site, how long visitors are on your site. Without a system like this, tracking progress can not be done.
Links: We will put as many links to other websites on your page, that is reasonable. Roughly 3-4 links per page.
Photos: We recommend and will put 5 photos on any and all of your website pages at no extra charge. Some web design services say only two photos maximum.
Email accounts: All customers receive 5 email accounts with unlimited amount of email useage. Example: yourname@yourname.com Many service providers add extra charges for email accounts. Also a possible scam if someone trys to sell you on a certain amount of emails, or trying to sell you on a plan for how many emails you might receive.
Digital bandwidth: Some website companies charge you more as your site starts doing better, They say you are using more bandwidth and apply a extra charge. Our websites include up to 100,0000 visitors a day. Do not fall for the Digital bandwidth scam! Once again get a clear written estimate.
Servers / Access: We can build your website on any server you want. Which gives you access to make changes as needed so you no longer have to pay us. We will even teach you how to make all the changes. Very Important! Some homebased companies or smaller firms use home computers as there server for your website. If that server would break, or get stolen your website and money is gone! If there was a power outage your website would not be working. We use servers that are online encrypted mega-information digital storage facilities similar to the federal government. In our entire career of building websites (15 years) none of our customers have experienced down time. Our websites work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for you.
Search Optimization / Submit to Search Engines: Some service providers will try to charge you thousands of dollars for this service. We include at no extra cost both optimization and monthly search engine submission with all our websites.
Site Equipped For Dial-Up, Highspeed or Different Browsers: Some service providers will try to sell you on a double program, one for dial up comnnections, another program for high speed. The websites we build work on all sytems, browsers and operating systems. Do not fall for this, it is just a SCAM!
Monthly Fees: Continual charges, after your site is built there is only a yearly charge, roughly around $150 year to keep your site plan and domain name. Some larger service providers are charging $79.95 monthly fees FOREVER! Do not fall for this. Unless you are requesting more work, there should be no more charges!
Charges for Estimate: A competent website firm or designer should be able to write you out a exact estimate of all the work they plan on doing for you. They should also provide this free of charge. If any service provider asks you for a consultation fee. RUN!
